Bla.. bla...bla....

Hi all... today is the post-morterm for yesterday's potluck party... bla bla bla... Just as I thought... People are mumbling about them having to arrange the dinner sets for the VIPs... Duuuuhhhhh!!!!

I still remember in the first meeting with the head of department about the party, my group was assigned to arrange with the water caterer to prepare drinks and table clothes for the VIP tables.. Never a speck that he/she mention about me having to deal for the whole/full dinner wear for them.... alahai....

One day, a person came up to me and ask me to ask the caterer to prepare the complete set for the three VIP tables.. And with the spirit of helping others, I called three caterers and endure one of them ridicule and belittle me just to fulfill this person's demand...
I even asked my office mates to help me out, but they are unable to do so... I worry that their beautiful plates get broken or what not...
Alhamdulillah...like usual, insya Allah, fainnamaal usriusro... innamaal usriusroo... I got one of the caterer to lend me the dinner sets eventhough we don't use his catering services... and I hand over the responsibilities of taking care of the sets to this person... is it wrong of me to do that???? He/she asked me to help him/her and now he/she's talking on my back about me handing over her job in the first place!!!!!!!!

Tell me... Do I still have to attend to this matter as well? Did he/she help me with my chores of arranging the water deal? NOPE!!! I'm not counting scores, but, come on man... I went out of my JOB SPEC to help him/her out and this is what I'm getting now??? I don't expect a thank you notes, praises or even a hamper... just appreciate it why don't you...

So, in sum, in the future, I shouldn't help others from now on... I'll just help those who I really know and would appreciate it... Masya Allah... give me guidance...

All is Well... Alhamdulillah...;o)

Hi all...
The potluck went on well... Alhamdulillah.. There ae comments about the VIP table setting.. Well, let them settle it within their committee... I'm just in charge of the water.. I'm the WATER GIRL... ;o)

Yes, during potluck parties people are suppose to mingle, but... there is an exception... When a VIP is walking towards the food stall, give way laaaa to him/her... don't "rebut" lah to get the food as well... As a civilized civil servant, you should know this COMMON SENSE!!!. I think he/she eats before his/her parents eat at home; they don't know the customs and order aaaa?????
Have respect to our leaders how ever they are to you... Even Rasulullah s.a.w ask the congregation to stand up to give respect when Sayyidina Abu Bakar walks into the masjid...
COMMON SENSE PEOPLE... COMMON SENSE!!!

HHHhuuuuuhhhhhh.... What a Day!!!

Hi all...

We have to prepare a potluck party... it is suppose to be fun right? People bring all kinds of dishes and everybody sit down together and enjoy the prepared meals, how ever they are... I had potluck parties when I studied in the States.. They were fun, especially when this is the time I can really quench my thirst for traditional drinks and enjoy traditional food... Yeeahaa.... It was fun and so meaningful... because the events were so layed back and people can enjoy themselves around others...

It is totally the opposite here... I'm on the committee to arrange this party right, even, my department is appointed as the "tuan rumah".. the coordinator... But since people in the committee keep bickering of who is suppose to do what, it is all messed up right???? WRONG!!! Everything is turning to be fine and people do their job the best they can... Who would of expect this after all of the back talking, stabbing and bickering.. he he he... Some people said, conflict can lead to success... REALLY? I had hard times and heart aches, but all are just in the days' work..

NEVERTHELESS... What annoy me the most is the people who don't understand the term "potluck" party... The format of the party is:

1. buffet

2.people have to mingle

3.use disposable utensils

4.don't expect too much on the taste of the food and drink

5.be courtious to others

6.SSSSHHHHHAAAARRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

This group of people insist of having a seperate table, complete with fancy utensils and table cloth ... what... do you want us to feed you as well?... WHERE is the POTLUCK SPIRIT for crying out loud... please......!!! Allah.. you made all kinds of people and these people really test my patients and deman most of my comprehension abilities.. he he he...

All in all, I hope the party will go well tomorrow... Amin... Pray for the best ok... Wassalam... ;o)

Why Do You Always Want to Annoy me???

Hi all...
Just recently a new list of "tugas sampingan" was relased and now I am officially responsible as the Sheriff of the Department (ha ha ha...), an Entrepreneurship Assistant Coordinator and a member in the Quality Development Team...

What dawned on me was, I don't really know, on what ground they select me as the Sheriff.. hu uhuk... I am not that mean, I don't really care about the students' garment as long as they "tutup aurat", I am a leisse fair kinda person, and I don't really mind if they come late to class (I just put ABSENT on the attendance sheet)... Why make an easy life difficult right?

Well... I accept this title with open arms, but this person came up to me and start making fun of it... It is bad enough that I have to face this job, but having somebody rubbing it to my face is another matter... It was fun and sweet at first, but things DO GET OLD and he/she started to annoy me... OMG... Stop already...

He/she said... " Hey! your the discipline officer and you have to move to the Student's Affair room..." Me, being "funned out"... I said softly to him/her.. "I am sitting in a perfectly wide, many empty desks and lots of friends, why should I move to a crowded room with no space to move?... He/she shut up... wa ka ka... Just leave me alone will you... Why do always annoy me??? Subhanallah...
